The Craft "Space" 5 Months Later.

The last 5 months have flown by so fast, It seems like only last weekend that Andy finished our Crafting Space,  or as the children call it the hobby room, It has not changed that much we have added more tables to work on, another mat, and lots of storage drawer units for Andy's lego collection, so the children have easy access to it to be able to build.

This is the view from the other side of the loft, looking at my area,

My working area

The Other Table for set up for  my sewing machine, (or my daughters table because she has claimed it )

The Expedit units from Ikea, and a lovely space on top to store bits and bobs.

The boxes really do hold a lot of stuff,

The desk close up and the drawers hold a lot as well, and its all close to hand for when I want to use it.

This is the other side (the lego side) We are still in the process of fixing he bannister around the loft hatch so the children do not fall down the hole,

Andy is in the process of sorting out all his lego into the storage boxes, We all love it up here, It is a lovely relaxing place to be.

The Christmas Tag Banner

Whilst browsing the internet I came across this banner which I love, This is my version.

It is slightly different and is hung over the fireplace and not in a window, I used the Craft-Robo to cut out all the tags and have just embellished them with a variety of  Christmas toppers, flowers and ribbons from stash,

I have also used embossing folders,

All the letters were also cut on the craft-robo,

and I used some lovely wooden ornaments, which cost 99 pence but I cannot remember where they came from.

Supplies are,
Kenny K image coloured in with spectrum noir pens,
DCWV boys stack paper,
Stars cut on my craft robo, buttons are from stash

Bird Cage Cards.

I made these two cards at a crop ages ago and forgot about blogging them,I think they were made in January when I had just got the Tim Holtz bird cage die and was not sure what to do with it, it took a while for inspiration to hit and  I came up with these.

I used the same sort of layout on each of the cards, just changing the border on the decorative strip, and a flower instead of a brad,  and I finally used the cropadile I really needed to set the eyelets.

The Teachers Gifts.

This year I made 7 thank you gifts for my children's teachers and teaching assistants. I kept them all the same just changing the colours on the cards to coordinate with the box.

I made the 2,5,7,10 box tutorial from here and it was lovely and easy to do and very quick to assemble.
The  owl's were created using  a stampin up two step owl punch and owl stamp, the branches are from the two step bird punch and it was finished off with a silvery moon. The boxes were filled with bath bombs and soaps from The Soapy Cauldren
