My first stepper card,

It seems like ages since I last posted, well it has been really we have just came back from a lovely but hectic week in London, we managed to fit loads in including two days in Legoland, Sightseeing (DS wanted to see all the big versions of the landmarks that are in Legolands mini land) visits to family and a few museums, and lots of walking and taking tubes.

Tower Bridge

Part of St Paul's Cathereal

and Big Ben, even though we all had a lovely time it was nice to come home.

I wanted to attempt to make an Stepper card, after seeing them on other peoples blogs and I have clear instructions on the Hougie board and this is what I came up with. It was very easy to do, the hardest bit was decorating it,

I have used cream card from The Papermill shop,
DP are from DCWV latte stack,
Stampin Up two step bird punch,
Sixxiz Happy Birthday embossing folder,
Green and Purple ink around the edges,
Martha Stuart flower punch,
Ribbon, bling and brads from stash,

Some More Boxes.

I have spent a some time playing with my Hougie Board today, making some different shaped cards, and some more boxes, This one is a copy of the box I won at a Stampin Up party I attended yesterday. It was filled with tealight candles and it was just beautiful,  mine is no where near as good as the one Lynn made but I'm happy with it for a first attempt.

and the inside I have just put some tealight candles inside.

It was made using red cardstock from stash,
papermania chirstmas paper
nestabilitie shaped rectange dies
Anita's christmas stamp set and ribbon,

I also made a couple of 2-4-6-8 gift bags these were so easy to make and very quick to do as well, I really like these bags

I made these using papermania Christmas paper,
Smirk Christmas stamps, coloured in with papermania watercolour markers
Crafts too oval punch
fiskars small hole punch and string from stash.

Boxes and more Boxes,

Today there was a demonstration day at Just Traceys  Dulcie from Wild Rose Studio was leading the demonstration and she was just lovely. The shop was very busy and I met some lovely ladies and of course got more stash.

My main purchase was this lovely bright green Hougie Board, I had been thinking about getting a score board for a while ( well at least 3 day's) and I'm so glad I did it really is fantastic, making boxes is just so easy here are some I have made in the last hour.

They are a peek - a - boo  which didn't come out as planned but was not bad for a first attempt,
A Milk Carton box,  please excuse the smudged stamping I was impatient about putting it together,
and a mini pizza box which took literally minutes to make, I think the Hougie is going to be a well used bit of kit.
