The Enjoy the journey Card

Male cards are always hard to create, you cannot embellish them with with pretty ribbons and flowers, but I have discovered Tim Holtz stamps and it makes it a little bit easier, I got my inspiration for this card from here,

I have used,
an old map as backing paper,
Tim Holtz the Journey Stamps,
Gold mirror card,
and buttons from stash

The Sort of Steampunk Card

I recently brought some Tim Holtz stamps as I love the vintage distressed look and wanted to have a go at making some tags, This is what I came up with, not exactly distressed or steam punk but my interpretation of it.

I have made the tag using various tim holtz stamps and any inks that I had handy and an ink duster to create the background,
The clock and gears were cut out on the craft robo,
The paper was from the scrap box which I ripped to give a vintage look and ink dusted the edges,
and to finish off  I embossed half the card using a crafts too dots folder, and added some eyelets using a cropadile.

A Vintage Aeroplane Card

My Father in Law has just celebrated a milestone birthday and this is the card I made for him, He has always loved aeroplanes and this sort of came about.

I used a vintage aeroplane image from the internet and for some reason the printer printed it out in sepia.
I mounted it on to beige card and inked and distressed around the edges,
Stamps are Viva Decor, and some magnetic stamps I picked up in a bargain bin which I  stamped in brown ink, I used a Tim Holtz ticket die for the sentiment and the ribbon and brad came from stash.

I would like to enter in into the following challenges,

Creative Card Challenges - Vintage/Distressed
Try it on Tuesdays - One for the boys
Cards for Men - Someone Special
Crafty Cardmakers - Steampunk or Machines
Polly Craft - Boyz to Men

Nan's Birthday Card

I was just messing around with a new xcut  daisy edger punch, and this card just came about really,

To make this card I have used a Maggie in Jumper stamp from sugar nellie coloured in with prismacolour pencils.  I created the background using a tiny square stamp and some green ink, the background paper is from a K and company paper pack and the flower was created using a Tim Holtz tattered flowers die, the paper for this was scraps from some patchwork backgrounds I had made earlier.
