The Starburst Card

Whilst browsing the internet I kept coming across  star burst cards I thought they looked great, after finding a tutorial I finally got to make one, I also attempted to stitch around the card ( it's not very straight)  using a little electric sewing machine, but with hindsight I think my bigger one would have given me more control.

 

To create this card I used, 

The greeting farm Miss Anya Fancy Dresses Stamp coloured in with Spectrum Noirs pens, 

Nestabilities Ovals and Scalloped Ovals, 

Quikcutz Fancy Corner Die 

The tags were cut on my craft robo and the buttons came from stash,

It's Been a While

It has been a such long time since I last posted but I have been busy with work and my new toy,

I mentioned to my husband that I would not mind getting a scooter just to go to and from work and within 2 weeks I had passed my CBT and got one, It was a bit of a whirlwind and  after initially being very scared riding  it I now love it.

I have been making mini albums and a couple of cards and trying to get to grips with my Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

I made this card for a friend in work who loves the colour purple.

To make this card
I used a lovely Miss Anya image coloured in with spectrum noir pens,
Dovecrafts back to basics purple paper pack , bling from stash,
Marianne Creatable's Butterfly and flower dies,
Nestabilities oval and scalloped oval dies,
The flourish was cut on my craft robo and a martha stuart leaf punch.
