A Vintage Aeroplane Card

My Father in Law has just celebrated a milestone birthday and this is the card I made for him, He has always loved aeroplanes and this sort of came about.

I used a vintage aeroplane image from the internet and for some reason the printer printed it out in sepia.
I mounted it on to beige card and inked and distressed around the edges,
Stamps are Viva Decor, and some magnetic stamps I picked up in a bargain bin which I  stamped in brown ink, I used a Tim Holtz ticket die for the sentiment and the ribbon and brad came from stash.

I would like to enter in into the following challenges,

Creative Card Challenges - Vintage/Distressed
Try it on Tuesdays - One for the boys
Cards for Men - Someone Special
Crafty Cardmakers - Steampunk or Machines
Polly Craft - Boyz to Men
Stamps R Us - Masculine

The Childrens Royal Wedding Party.

I still remember the huge street party I went to when Charles and Diana got married and knew that our street would not be having a big street party, So my friend Sarah and I organised a little party for our children and the ones they play with in the street.
We ended up hosting it in my garage as it was windy and overcast, but that didn't matter the children loved it, and hopefully they will remember it like I remembered Charles and Dianas

This is the Union Jack cake stand I made complete with red, white and blue cakes.

The front of the party favour bags, each child had a commemorative magnet or spoon, the bag was made using my craft robo and decorated with a banner flag , and print out if the happy couple.

He is called Throwback Fred and was a free digital stamp ( but I cannot remember where from) I coloured him in with aquamarkers and edged the paper with green ink, The DP is from dovecrafts Funky Vintage, the sentiment is from sentiments 4 you and the ribbon and brads are from stash,

I would like to enter him into the following challenges
