My beautiful birthday present from my husband

Well it's official I'm now a year closer to 40, Andy has treated me to the most beautiful Pandora Bracelet for my birthday this year.

He has chose 5 charms to go with it 2 bead clasps ( so the charms don't fall off when I take it off) A little boy and girl to represent the children and a green bead because I like green and it is my birthstone colour which is Emerald, I really am a very lucky girl.

A little Play around with some new paper

I have not had much time in the last few weeks to do any card making, But I did manage to sneak this one in when I was finishing off the layout of Dads birthday book,

IMG_6051

It was made using some Funky Vintage papers from dovecraft, A punched out 3 inch scalloped circle with a butterfly topper on the top, I used my Martha Stuart flower punch for the flowers and inked around the edges with some pink ink from Ink it up, and last but not least I used a happy birthday sentiment, I know who this one is going to go to, and I think she will like it,

Other than that I have been busy setting up my new Laptop

A Little Fairy Card.

Life seems to be getting in the way of crafting at the moment, so I thought I would share a card I made a couple of weeks ago,

It was a very quick card to make, I just used different pink paper and cut the scalloped circle using my 3 inch x cut punch, and the rest is just some fairy stickers I picked up in Poundland a few months ago, I then stamped on a birthday sentiment and coloured it in using a pink pencil. I have had to hide the stickers away though because a certain 6 year old keeps asking for them.

One of the ladies on MSE has been ill this week and Rainmac set a challenge to make her a card,
Here's mine,

I have used a paper pack that a friend gave me so I'm not sure what it is called, the shapes are cut using my shaped rectangle nestie's the image is a gorguss girl which I have coloured in using prismacolor pencils, and the flowers are cut from a Martha Stuart punch I added a bit of bling in the centre of the flowers and added a best wishes sentiment.

I've finally got to use the Martha Stuart punch.

I have finally made a card using the Martha Stuart punch and stamp punch, and the embossing butterflies,

The card was made using an Kate Knightly paper backing paper that was free with a magazine this month, the flowers are made using the Martha Stuart flower stamp and punch, and then embossed with yellow/gold embossing powder, the Image is Daisy from Sugar Nellie coloured in with Prismacolor pencils,  the butterflies were cut and embossed and I distressed the edges with gold ink it up ink, and I added a simple sentiment, and some gold florist ribbon ( thanks Aunt Doll) and  a tiny bling heart from stash,

Bank Holiday Retail Therapy.

We had a nice busy bank holiday weekend, and managed to fit quite a lot in best of all  I managed a bit of retail therapy.
On Saturday we went on a bike ride into Cornwall ( and thank you Mum and Dad for looking after the children for us) an Xcut border and butterfly punch, some tacky glue and the Retail Therapy Shop Stamp, I already have the girl stamp that goes with it and want to make a card for a friends birthday with the whole set,

And then on Sunday I visited  http://www.justtracys.co.uk/   brick and mortar  shop and came home with some embossing butterfly's an embossing folder and some Nellie Sneddon circle dies, so now I just have to find the time to use it.
