Card Making With Miss S,

Miss S has been off school today due to an ear ache, she woke up with it last night and after taking her to the emergency doctor who recommended that I kept her home today we have both been making cards, This is Miss S’s cards for her friends who are 8 tomorrow,

IMG_6104I gave her two blank cards and some stickers, and let her imagination go wild. I love them and I think her friends will as well.

Mine are just very quick easy cards,

I made this one using a crafts too daisy embossing folder and then inked around the edges and over some of the flowers, then cut a scalloped circle and inked around it using the same coloured ink, Then I just placed some fairy and butterfly stickers ( from pound land) and finished it off with a pink ribbon and a happy birthday sentiment.

For this one I used the dots embossing folder from crafts' too and deembossed it, I then added a strip of football paper from the Its a man’s world collection, I then added a piece of green paper form stash and embossed it with dots and then inked over the top of it,  the footballer and footballs are from another set of stickers from pound land and I then added a simple sentiment. I have also sorted all my stash out today so I can find things, when I want to make cards,

A little Play around with some new paper

I have not had much time in the last few weeks to do any card making, But I did manage to sneak this one in when I was finishing off the layout of Dads birthday book,

It was made using some Funky Vintage papers from dovecraft, A punched out 3 inch scalloped circle with a butterfly topper on the top, I used my Martha Stuart flower punch for the flowers and inked around the edges with some pink ink from Ink it up, and last but not least I used a happy birthday sentiment, I know who this one is going to go to, and I think she will like it,

Other than that I have been busy setting up my new Laptop

A Little Fairy Card.

Life seems to be getting in the way of crafting at the moment, so I thought I would share a card I made a couple of weeks ago,

It was a very quick card to make, I just used different pink paper and cut the scalloped circle using my 3 inch x cut punch, and the rest is just some fairy stickers I picked up in Poundland a few months ago, I then stamped on a birthday sentiment and coloured it in using a pink pencil. I have had to hide the stickers away though because a certain 6 year old keeps asking for them.

Bank Holiday Retail Therapy.

We had a nice busy bank holiday weekend, and managed to fit quite a lot in best of all  I managed a bit of retail therapy.
On Saturday we went on a bike ride into Cornwall ( and thank you Mum and Dad for looking after the children for us) an Xcut border and butterfly punch, some tacky glue and the Retail Therapy Shop Stamp, I already have the girl stamp that goes with it and want to make a card for a friends birthday with the whole set,

And then on Sunday I visited  http://www.justtracys.co.uk/   brick and mortar  shop and came home with some embossing butterfly's an embossing folder and some Nellie Sneddon circle dies, so now I just have to find the time to use it.
