50th Birthday Stepper Card

It is a year of milestone birthdays for us this year, and today my Auntie turns 50, I wanted to make her something different and finally decided on a Side Stepper Card made with the Hougie Board


I was really pleased with how it turned out and to create it I used,
Nana's Kitchen design paper,
gold mirror card,
pink card from the papermill,
Sarah kay  image coloured in with aquamarkers,
martha stuart flower punch,
large number 50 cut out on the craft robo,
ribbon and sentiment from stash

Another Smirk Card

I really do enjoy using the Smirk range by Dovecraft, they are just lovely fun characters. This card was made for another MSE members birthday,

The recipe for this card was,

Papermania capsule collection papers in black and white,
Smirk chipboard person,
black and pink card from the Papermill,
3 inch scalloped circle x cut nesting punch,
x cut hearts edging punch and bling from stash

A Quick Birthday Card

I was short on time and needed to make a birthday card this is what I came up with,

A swirly embossing folder, 
Wild rose studio poker dots design paper,

large scalloped circle nesting punch
bling and ribbon from stash,

Dressing Up Maggie

I love this stamp by Sugar Nellie, it reminds me of my daughter who spends a lot of time dressing up, and can always be found wearing my shoes and slippers around ( and she is always raiding my make up bag), this card was made for one of the ladies on MSE for her birthday.

Fairy Birthday Card

Over on MSE  it was Dragonllew's birthday. This was the card I made for her,

Anita's card blank,
Sixxiz embossing folder, 
Anita's fairy decoupage

Mica powders mixed with water and sprayed, 
gold ribbon from stash.

Black and White Challenge Card

Over on Mse Fifi Folle has set us a challenge of making a black and white card, here is my attempt,

 I'm really enjoying doing the side stepper cards at the moment, and I think I have finally got the hang of matting and layering.
